Originally from Alexandria, Louisiana, Sidney Lavel Smith (aka Sid the Kid the Man) is a critically acclaimed musical director, publisher, composer, educator, performer, and the owner of OverSoul Records. Sid earned a B.A. in Film Scoring from the prestigious Berklee College of Music and a Master’s Degree in Jazz Composition from UNLV.
